These appointments are central to Funding’s ambition to be the most trusted partner for brokers and their clients. By investing in the right people to strengthen relationships, Funding is committed to providing expert support along with innovative, fast and flexible finance solutions that help Australians achieve their financial goals with confidence.

David Conroy, BDM New South Wales

David Conroy joins Funding with 15 years of experience in both residential and commercial lending, having worked with major banks, credit unions, mortgage originators and LMI companies. Throughout his career, he’s built strong industry partnerships with brokers to drive growth and collaboration. With his deep knowledge of lending and talent for creating lasting connections, David is dedicated to enhancing partnerships in New South Wales, helping brokers and clients fully benefit from Funding’s short-term finance solutions.

Karen Valenzuela, BDM Queensland

With expertise in Business Funding, Asset Finance and Insurance, Karen is committed to building and nurturing relationships with brokers, referrers and dealers across Queensland. Her focus on understanding client needs and expanding their options supports Funding’s goal to be the leader in delivering innovative and tailored finance solutions.

The new BDMs will help brokers’ clients access Funding’s award-winning suite of short-term property finance solutions, including bridging, business and building loans.

Chris Maamoun, Head of Sales & Partnerships at Funding, stated:

“There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing your clients praise your work as a broker. That’s why we’ve grown our team to eight—to make sure we continue providing a great experience by prioritising brokers and their clients with transparent, fast and seamless support to help them move their deals forward faster.”

Jack O’Reilly, CEO & Founder of Funding, added:

“At Funding, we are reshaping financial services so more Australian borrowers can get ahead sooner. Expanding our national BDM team enables us to meet the increasing demand for our tech-enabled bridging, business and building loan solutions.”

These appointments come at a time of significant growth for Funding, which has recently been recognised as one of MPA’s Top Mortgage Employers for 2024. Funding is shortlisted for FinTech Lender of the Year at the Australian Mortgage Awards 2024 on 18 October 2024.
